Tuesday, October 4, 2022 I’m getting more than a few messages about a fall event here. So I thought I’d give an update. In August we talked to the workers putting in our new water system and what we heard from many them was encouraging. We thought there was a good chance we could have an event the end of September and the driveway would be repaired and safe for visitors. But you know how construction goes. One delay after another and we are still waiting for our driveway to be torn up. Plan B. We had penciled in Oct 22 for a Oktoberfest event here but yesterday we realized there isn’t enough time to get things ready for that date. Not to worry, I quickly filled that date with a private tour group. So we are in a wait and see mode right now, hoping to announce an event sometime before the end of the year. As soon as we know when that will be, we’ll let you know! To dispel any rumors, we are not retiring, we are not stopping events, we are just playing it safe for now. Hope to see many of you soon!
