Good work

Monday, September 12, 2022  It’s Monday morning and so many people are returning to jobs they don’t really like.  I find that to be very sad. The work here is never ending and some can be frustrating but I think we are both basically happy with what we do all week. I have a manifesto hanging in the house and part of it says “If you don’t like your job, quit” ( It’s also filled with other amazing gems of wisdom and I’ll include a photo below.) When I wanted to make alpaca business my full time career, I had to quit my “real job” and someone said to me “You need to take off the golden handcuffs” in other words stop doing what you do only for the $$. It was scary but I believed I could and so I did.  Obviously there is a much bigger story here but I’m not going to get into it this morning. My wish is that you find joy in what you do every day or make a change so that is possible!  Happy Monday!

Photo of the Day:  Stacking firewood is one of Farmer Ed’s favorite jobs, and I’m not kidding!  (photo is from 10 years ago and he hasn’t changed much!)

Oh! I love your manifesto! And you are SO spot on. After decades of “Workin hard for the money (I know you just sang that verse! Lol) At 65 I am working for the Utah Food Bank and I love every second of it. I love the people and I love the mission, “Fight Hunger”.
Have a beautiful day. We are receiving a little bit of 🌧️ down here in St George this morning 🙏
