Wednesday, August 31, 2022 The first of the 2022 fleeces are back and so very yummy! Thanks Spinderellas! I got so excited about this roving I pulled my spinning wheel outside under the tree and had to give it a whirl. Or should I say give it a spin? Anyway it was a super easy spin and I love the way the yarn turned out. I am not one who goes after perfection and spinning or in life, so it turned out just like I like – if you are a perfectionist I’m sure you could make this more consistent. I’ve never want my handspun yarn to look like it came from a store. 😊 The three colors of alpaca go beautifully together and the result after spinning is a warm heathered super soft yarn.
