Always learning

Monday, August 29, 2022  Sometimes it takes us a while to learn things, but as long as we’re still learning that is what matters right?  This year we learned that we can revive a pasture by keeping alpacas off it for a year. duh.  We learned to be sure the boys get their hay delivered before the girls because the first cutting will have little to no alfalfa and our boys are all pleasingly plump so will do best on that hay. We learned that we can have 13 family members live here for a few weeks and still have fun! We learned to prioritize our health and say no when we have to. We learned that we have a pretty darn good life here and have much to be grateful for.  And I’m sure we’ll keep learning. Happy Monday. 

Photo of the Day:  Farmer Ed finally learned that a long sleeve white t shirt and big hat will keep him cooler than a regular t shirt and a baseball cap.  Some body get this guy a horse and buggy!  😂  ….but the shorts!   He won’t give up the shorts!
