Saturday, August 13, 2022 I truly believe there is no happier dog than a dog who has a job. Our guardian dogs might not have the cushy life that house dogs do, but they love their jobs and are happy to be working. The working pair of Blue and Juno is an ideal mix – he patrols perimeters and she keeps an eye on the herd wherever they go. They both get plenty of exercise – when they had their last physical the vet said, “these are your athletes, you can tell from their slow steady heart beats”. We feed them well and hope they will be working here together for many years.

Photo of the Day: Juno lies right in the path of the herd as they go to a new pasture. She loves watching them and keeping them safe. Blue went out ahead of the group to make sure all areas were safe before the migration started.
