Wednesday, July 27, 2022 We knew it would happen eventually. Since last fall, we’ve been expecting our roads to be torn uo to allow the city to replace a very old water system. Well as Murphy’s law would have it, they began on the day our big family reunion started! The noise hasn’t been as bad as I feared and we stay pretty much at the ranch so it’s not that much of an inconvenience…yet. The barn has it’s own water line so our driveway will also be “disturbed”. I can hardly wait. Currently they are working right in front of the house but they are having problems with huge boulders under the street so it’s taking much longer than expected. Once this project is 100% completed, we can think about hosting an open barn day – and that is the good news! But until then we’ll just have to be grateful that they’re fixing the water system before it collapsed. Happy Wednesday!

Hope the noise doesn’t bother any of the animals and the work goes quickly.
