Friday, July 8, 2022 Our only male in the girls barn is tiny Benjamin. He’ll be one year old this month month and so far isn’t showing any signs of male type behavior. He’s far too tiny to be in with the big boys so that is a relief! Believe it or not, I can see what he’s doing most of the day, our home was built with alpaca viewing windows everywhere and of course I have my surveillance cams too! lol He still wants to be right next to his mama, and that is typical of all little boys we’ve had here. One of these days, i imagine he’ll be moved in with the bachelors but for now life is sweet for Benjamin. Happy Friday!
Photo of the Day: Benji is astonished that I’d even think of moving him in with the big boys. 
I caught him nursing from his mom last week on the barn cam. I’ve only seen her refuse him for about the past month so that was a surprise. Get it while you can Benji!

Oh he is little! Adorable though. Yes, much better for him to stay with Mama for as long as he can.

Thanks, Lana. If and when we do move him, he’ll have a private suite in the big boy barn until it’s safe for him. We have a few older gents who could stay with him as he grows.
