Tuesday, July 5, 2022 A nice quiet Tuesday is just what our dogs need. Actually it sounds pretty good to me too.
I can barely stand to read the news today. I do and I will because I feel it is important to be informed, but good grief, what is happening to this country. More mass shootings, a Supreme court taking us backwards 50 years, hearing more details of an attempted coup by an ex president. ugh. I’m grateful that my farm and my family keep me busy enough that I can escape the insanity of it all. I think scooping some alpaca beans will be the perfect activity today. Now that we’ve reopened the gates to the main pasture I’m going to try to keep it looking good for as long as I can. I also have the fleece shed full of beautiful fleeces waiting for me. Busy hands are happy hands? I’ll let you know. Have a good quiet Tuesday.
Photo of the Day: This sweet boy has such a hard time with all the fireworks. You get a few weeks of quiet Blue.

Yes, the farm work really can ease the stress of what all is happening. And now I just got an email from Alpaca Association telling of a horrendous abuse case in Indiana. Alpacas and other animals. How often do we have to say ‘What’s wrong with people!!’. Sigh.
Linda
I just read the same email Lana. How very sad.
