Monday, June 20, 2022 He’s 12 years old and trying to build muscles, I’m well over 70 and need someone to move a stack of hay – a perfect match! I had a stack of about 30 bales from last years delivery that needed to be moved to make room for the new hay coming in a few weeks. And the gentle boy was thrilled to have the job. I figured it would take him most of the week, these are heavy bales and I thought 5 or 6 a day would be a good pace. But he did it almost all in one day. The best part – he sang while he worked he was so happy doing it. He knew how to make steps so he could get to the top of the stack and he recreated the pattern of the stack he took apart to make it secure. FYI, he was compensated for his hard work even though he said he’d be happy to do it for free. Lucky grandparents, happy boy. #grateful

Half way through, still smiling!
A rest well earned.

I love the stories of the gentle boy 💜 Really makes me miss my grandsons (sigh).

Awww I hope you get to see your grandsons soon. 3 of my grandsons live in Bangkok so I miss them too.

I have no grand children so I am putting in my order for “the gentle boy”. And to think he’ll be with you all week.
Linda
We’re very lucky to have this boy live only an hour away. I’ll tell him you have an order in. 😁
