Friday, May 27, 2022 Whew, yesterday was a warm one for a bunch of alpacas wearing their full winter coats! But they did get to have some creek wading time so everyone cooled off. I’m going to get a few of the girls in the catch pen today and trim some of their faces, it won’t keep them any cooler but it will make it easier for them to see. Ryder and Stetson need a face trim too and I’ll get them done next. Those fuzzy faces are cute but I bet if the alpacas could choose they’d skip all the fiber on their faces! So we trim those who need it and wait for shearing day to clean them all up. Happy Friday!
Photo of the Day: Scarlett the alpaca ambassador does have eyes under there and actually she can see just fine. It’s just that YOU can’t see her eyes. But she will be on the list for a trim just because she’s easy.
