I pray for change

Wednesday, May 25, 2022  How can I post a daily blog and not mention the bloodshed in Texas?  I can’t. Because i am not yet numb to the madness. It all weighs so heavy on my heart and I want things to change. Gun rights lobbyists have twisted the intent of the second amendment to their own advantage and convinced normal people that the government want to take away your guns. This is not true. We need some controls! I plan to contact my legislators today and will vote only for those who have an agenda to stop the madness.  After I do that, to calm myself down I will take a walk to the River at the end of our Road.  Be safe out there.

It sounds a bit like a train when you get close at this time of year. I love to sleep with the windows open to hear it.

I feel the same as you do. I am so upset and sad and very, very angry that this can keep happening. Good idea to contact reps and senators, both state and US. Sigh… I am in the Live Free or Die state, so I don’t have a lot of hope in the State legislature, but we can vote!

If you’ve never tried resistbot it’s pretty easy to contact your representatives. Simply text RESIST to 50409 and they will find your representatives for you and help you contact them. You can do a google search for them to be sure it’s right for you. I’ve been using it for years.
