Saturday, May 14, 2022 Once the snow stops (and it did) and temps warm up a bit – there is so much to do around here. Like Ed says “It all hits at once” But this year there are two of us doing the work so it seems easier for me, although I’m not sure what he’d day about being this busy in retirement. lol We finished another area of reseeding and I used the Kubota to move the steaming compost pile to the north pasture. I realized our visitors might not think the smell is as awesome as I do. 😁 It takes about a million trips back and forth but I’ve always liked tractor work so it was a good day. Happy Saturday!

A beautiful sight!

One of my favorite things to see! I hope it keeps steaming in the new location so I can go get a whiff when I need to. 😁

Is that a manure spreader or just a trailer? We have a red manure spreader that looks like that. Ours is very old – was old before we got it 20 years ago. Still works. So cool that you like the tractor work!!
Linda
It’s the bucket on the front of my old Kubota tractor. Our manure spreader broke, so I do it by hand. ugh. This pile will cook for a year or so before I spread it.
Lana
Oh no! You need a dump trailer. Next year’s Christmas present??? lol
Linda
You’re right Lana, I do need that!
