Tuesday, May 3, 2022 Spring snow storms are not at all unusual but I will admit I didn’t see this one coming. I was washing fleeces yesterday and left them outside to dry. At the last minute I decided to bring them in over night. Good decision! The dogs and alpacas are rejoicing at these cool temps (28°F) and we still have plenty of firewood to keep the humans warm.
Operation restore and rest the pasture will take a brief intermission while the snow hides everything from us. Honestly I need a rest from it! Reseeding pastures by hand is not as much fun as you might think. 😉 But my how pretty it all is. And let’s say it together ….”We do need the moisture” Have a good Tuesday!
Photo of the Day: Benjamin led the girls out of the barn this morning but then decided to head back the other way. 
I don’t know if the humming birds will even find their feeder! Not to worry, I will brush the snow off.
