Saturday, April 30, 2022 It’s rare that we go anywhere these days but yesterday we made the big trip to Salt Lake City to celebrate our grandson’s 12th birthday. We feasted on some of the best sushi in the world and celebrated a most wonderful human. That he chose his grandparents to come to his birthday party was pretty sweet. It is fun to see the city and remember when we used to live there but I’ll take the country life any day. No traffic, no bright lights, no noise and almost no people. And we got a gorgeous new neighbor. Happy Saturday!
Photo of the Day: I love it when we get new neighbors.

And a beautiful new neighbor it is!💜
Can you believe how crowded the city is now?! Makes me sad. Trying to find a way to get back to Wasatch county.

Traffic was insane. And they keep building more houses. ☹️

We recently went back to Massachusetts where we used to live and had to go through Boston to get there. Man we couldn’t wait to get back to New Hampshire’s Mount Washington Valley. I couldn’t believe I ever was comfortable with all the traffic! Country life is the best!! I’m sure Park City is nice as cities go.

Park City feels more comfortable than Salt Lake City but Woodland (population 335) is much better. We do have to deal with lack of nearby restaurants and shopping but it’s a good trade off for us.
