Friday April 20, 2022 I participate in several groups where people can learn about livestock guardian dogs. Most dogs under a year old are tethered or in a separate area near their livestock. A pup under a year simply cannot be trusted. I might have agreed until i met Juno. Knock on wood, this girl is acting like a dog well beyond her tender ago of 8 months. And she gets better every day. No chasing, playing or other puppy nonsense. (she saves that for Blue) Is it her breed? Pyrenees/Maremma mix, or did we just get lucky and get one of the best guardian pups in the universe? I pick the latter. Honestly, she was a bit afraid of them when she first arrived, but she studied them carefully for the next few months and now she totally adores them. I’ll never take my guardians for granted and I’ll do everything I can to ensure a long and happy life for them here. Happy Friday!

I 💜 your stories of BMR Guardian Dogs! The recent videos of her and Ed helping Rocky get across that little stream and the video of her lying by the stream as she was counting each one as they crossed it is pretty impressive.
