Wednesday, April 20, 2022 Clouds came in last night and brought more moisture to our dry ground. This morning everything is white again and the alpacas are out in the snow searching for tall blades of grass.
I had to just sit and marvel at the spring scene here yesterday – mostly the birds! Crows were cawing all day overhead, the redwing blackbird chorus is now non stop and red-tail hawks screeched a time or two as well. And my blue heron? He flew over my head at least 3 times! The frogs in our wet areas were waking up from a long winter and started singing too. I’m so grateful to be connected to the earth in my every day work. Happy Wednesday!
