Thursday, April 14, 2022 It actually snowed most of the day yesterday. And what do we say abut snow in April?….”We need the moisture” Although it is very true I sometimes get tired of hearing it. lol I have outdoor projects to finish before summer arrives!
All the animals were all so hungry yesterday! The guardian dogs gobbled their meals with great gusto and the alpacas fell in love with hay again. The neighborhood birds continued to empty my feeders and even the humans ate well last night. More snow tonight! Happy Wednesday!
Photo of the Day: View from the back deck. Repeat after me… We need the moisture. 😁

We REALLY need the moisture! 😊
Linda
lol We really do!

I heard them say that on the news last night. ‘They need the moisture out there’. But wouldn’t April showers work?? lol
Linda
Exactly! Good point! But they also say the snowpack in the mountains is more needed than rain for now. ugh

I LOVE spring snow storms here in these beautiful Utah mountains! Because I can hibernate (& fibernate) a little bit longer and I know that in a couple of days it’ll all melt. I always pray for a good spring snowstorm. Our crops and lakes need it! Although we had shearing day here on Tuesday during blizzard conditions and I wish the timing of the storm had waited a few days. But all is well and my fluffies are hunkered down in their stables. We got 10″ of snow and it’s still coming down.
It’s supposed to be 70 degrees here on Monday, so it won’t be around for long. 🙂

I agree,Jen. We’ve already started melting although it looks like we’ll be white again tonight and tomorrow. Because I’d rather not confine or coat 40+ animals, we’ll be waiting for shearing day til June this year. Hug your fluffies for me!
