Friday, April 8, 2022 We are surrounded by mountains or foothills on all 4 sides here. It’s one part of what made me fall in love with this property when I first saw it. It’s also why we have our own unique weather patterns that don’t follow the forecasters. We hear the wind on the ridge tops but it’s never as bad down here. But mostly it makes it feel safe. (and makes a great background for most of my photos!) We had to build barns and a house but I’ve never doubted that this place is where we belong. Happy Friday!
Photo of the Day: BMR view from Lower River Road yesterday. You can see the new path the girls have to use to get to the barn while their favorite pasture gets a rest. They’ve stopped complaining once they realized they still have 5 acres to explore.
