Monday, April 4, 2022 You know that wonderful feeling when you no longer need to zip up your big winter coat when you go outside? Well alpacas never know that feeling. They wear their heavy winter coats right up until shearing day. Imagine wearing the same coat you wore in mid January when you go out for a lovely spring walk. It was barely 50° yesterday but I could tell some animals were already seeking the shade. Shearing day is a long way off with many warm days before then, so we’ll make sure shade is always available and of course there’s always splashing in the creek. Happy Monday!
Photo of the Day: Just cooling off on a 50 degree day. Yes that’s little Remy spitting at Lincoln for encroaching on his favorite spot. lol
