Saturday, March 5, 2022 Winter is back and it’s OK. Compared to what our friends in Ukraine are suffering through our lives are pretty easy. I watched footage from a Bernese mountain dog breeder I know who lived near Kyiv and it absolutely breaks my heart. They just left their home yesterday. Can you imagine?
I’ve heard of people booking Airbnbs in Ukraine with no intention of going there, but a a way to get $$ in the hand of the people. I will also support The Ukraine red cross. It’s hard to watch this unfold and feel helpless. 🙏 Prayers for Ukraine and may peace return soon.

How awful for your friend and the rest of her country. My nephew is married to a Ukrainian American and she has family there. For her recent birthday she asked for donations to Sunflower of Peace to help her homeland. Donating helps us feel less impotent. Tho I know we, as a country, are trying to help them fight back. We are so lucky here.
