Saturday, February 19, 2022 Juno probably seems to be in a lot of the photos I post lately and indeed she is. That’s because she is changing right before my eyes and I need to record it! Her confidence is growing along with her coat and I remember the word the breeder used to describe her as compared to her siblings – formidable. What i am most impressed with is how very observant she is. She watches everything – how Blue interacts with certain alpacas, how I move around the herd when I’m feeding them and she’s always watching in the distance just checking things out. She finds a spot, lies down and just watches. In the beginning she watched more out of concern, now she watches more out of curiosity and confidence.
It was such a difficult time losing Charlotte and trying to find a helper for Blue but I feel so grateful now for the way it all worked out. I am experienced enough to know I actually have 2 very young dogs as guardians but so far they are doing a great job as a team. Happy Saturday!

Thanks Lana, I’m so pleased with the way she is growing into herself. And that lovely coat will come in handy for our upcoming arctic blast!
