Wednesday, February 9, 2022 Happy six month birthday to Juno! Yes it actually is a big deal here. The main reason is because she will now do just fine on two meals a day. I remember when Blue and Banjo turned six months old, I had a hallelujah party because I was so happy not to have to deal with two puppies who needed to be fed three times a day in different locations. Those 2 boys are two weeks apart in age so we split the difference and called it good.
Juno is doing so well here. She is learning so much and seems happy with her job. She is one of the most vigilant and aware guardians we’ve ever had. She adores Blue and I’m pretty sure the feeling is mutual. She’s very respectful of the alpacas but not afraid of them anymore. She’s learned all the doggy gateways around the property and can get to every inch of the property – thanks Blue for showing her all that. She has a lovely deep bark that makes her sound like twice her size. She comes when I call her (for now) and I sleep better at night knowing that she’s out there helping Blue keep us all safe. Happy 6 months old dear Juno!
