Sun therapy

Tuesday, February 8, 2022   The sun seems brighter lately and animals and humans alike are craving it’s warmth. Sun exposure is the most important natural source of vitamin D so I make sure that animals are comfortable hanging outside more than in the barn these days. Leftover hay makes a perfect resting spot on top of the snow and ice and it’s been a very popular place lately. Although we desperately need more snow, we kind of have to take what we get so we might as well enjoy the sunshine while we have it. I have a south facing chair for my own sun therapy as well and as long as I’m bundled up, it’s lovely. Hoping you find sunshine and natural vitamin D on this brilliant Tuesday. ☀️

Photo of the Day: The leftover hay stems make this a perfect sunbathing spot.

I have a chair behind the barn that I use for my own sun therapy too.  ✨☀️

They do love the sun don’t they. And you too. Looks lovely. We’re having snow today, but we are also behind the norm. Nice to ‘see’ you.

Awwww, thanks Sunny. You know I am much more comfortable on the other side of the lens but every once in a while, like once every five years, I guess I better show my face. 😁
