Friday, January 14, 2022 So many people are struggling right now with surging covid cases and winter doldrums or maybe even being sick. I never take for granted how fortunate i am to have my farm and my animals right outside my door each day to keep me busy, give me purpose and make me smile. But most people don’t have that. What can you do???
*Be kind. Doing something nice for someone else is a good way to have a better day yourself.
*Get outside and move. Even in the city you can do this one.
*Call an old friend you haven’t talked to in a while.
*Start a new project – like knitting with alpaca yarn!
*Volunteer. Walk dogs at a local shelter? Shovel a neighbors driveway? Can you use your unique talents to help someone else?
I’ve shared a few thoughts and if you are able to please share in comments below how you keep your attitude on the bright side on dark days. Thanks and Happy Friday!

We check on our elderly neighbors and do what we can for others in need at work. Bake sales to raise money for a work family’s medical needs. A co-worker died of covid and we raised money for his wife and family. Sad times so we do what we can.

I deliver food, from the Food bank, to people who are elderly or shut-in due to health problems. It’s the same people every month and they have become my family, I just love them.
