Wednesday, January 5, 2022 A new winter storm might keep our grandson here for longer than we planned but we’re all OK with that. We’ve been baking cookies, playing with Juno and enjoying some good winter playtime. He is so ready to help with any farm chores and we love having him here.
Juno decided she should stay out with Blue all night and although it’s hard for me to allow this, I must admit, she is telling me she already knows her job. And she can’t do it tucked inside her pen in the barn. It looks like she has been sleeping inside the old hay barn with Blue so she’s out of the weather and I’m trying to relax about this new development. You should have heard the protest when I tried to get her in the barn at night! lol Her coat is much thicker than when she arrived and I do think she’ll be fine. Blue loves having her out with him more. It’s just always hard to settle that mother brain that’s in my head.
