Friday, December 31, 2021 So much more snow overnight! For the first time in forever, Ed escorted me to the barn this morning as I went to let Juno out and feed her. He was afraid I might get lost in a snow drift and he’d have to fend for himself. 😂 Seriously the gates are becoming a challenge to open so I was grateful for the help. Juno will not leave the barn unless we open the back door – she’d rather not walk through the crowd of alpacas that hang out at the big front door, so she waits for us to let her out the back each morning. All this would be so different if it wasn’t for all the snow that keeps the alpacas huddled around the hay feeders and inside the barn. But we’re all doing OK. I came back inside for coffee and to do the blog and now I’m heading back out to see if Juno would prefer to be in the barn – I doubt it. She’s fearless and prefers to follow Blue wherever he goes.
Be safe if you’re partying tonight! 🥂 Happy New year!
Photos of the Day: The carved bear is hibernating, waiting for spring.
Barking at snowflakes. (don’t worry she can get out of the snow if she wants to)

We sure do! Luckily the dogs have paths packed down so we don’t lose them!
