Monday, December 27, 2021 The family all left for their own homes yesterday to avoid too much snow travel and everyone is home safe. And it’s still snowing. ❄️ As we’re struggling to keep gates working here, we remind each other – we do NOT complain about snow in a drought! The alpacas are happy in their barns with extra hay and warm water and only a few venture out at night for an evening romp. We’ve started the deep bedding process in the barns, tossing left over hay on the bean piles in there and it really is efficient and makes nice comfy places to bed down for the night. Both Juno and Blue love romping in the snow and considering that Juno never saw snow until she arrived here 2 weeks ago she’s made a great adjustment. Happy Monday!

Happy SNOWY Monday!!! Enjoying the quiet and knitting time at our house. The little birds are entertaining as they mob their two feeders and wait in the trees for their turn. Nice that Juno is adapting so well to her new home.

That sounds perfect Cathy! I was hoping to get lots of spinning done this winter, but Juno might be changing my plans. lol. She’s worth it.
