Brrrrr. Welcome winter.

Saturday, December 11, 2021  Baby, it’s cold out there!  5 degrees when I last checked.  Ever since we insulated the barn roof, it’s significantly warmer in the barn and 80% of the herd prefers to be inside. The other 20% are winter lovin’ die hards and stayed out. They’ll be fine.  And Blue looks like a polar bear these days – I’ve seen him out this morning patrolling, or maybe he’s looking for Juno!  Any temp above zero is tolerable for most of our animals, so I won’t fret too much. 

Juno comes tomorrow!  Her breeder is driving all night to get her here! I can’t even imagine but it was her choice. Might be a late update tomorrow – we’ll see how the timing works out.  Happy Saturday!
