Using the fleeces 🧶

Wednesday, November 17, 2021  I first fell in love with alpacas because of their essence, and it had nothing to do with fleece. Their gentle nature, their beautiful long necks, and their huge soulful eyes all captivated me. And when we first became alpaca owners I was thrilled beyond my wildest dreams to have these amazing animals in my life every day.  But what to do with all that fleece? So eventually I did learn to spin and knit and to this day I love the way it connects me to the animals I am so passionate about. Life is too short to knit with acrylic (which believe it or not are made from petroleum products!)!   Happy Wednesday!
