Tuesday, October 26, 2021 Lots of good rain and snow overnight kept the alpacas in their barns once again. The dogs were out from time to time and I can see their footprint in the snow but 99% of all activity was under shelter. Lucky for me I get to check all angles from the comfort of my desk with the new camera system. It will not be available for public viewing, the cost is prohibitive and the only one who really needs to see is me. The old cam system was fun while it lasted but this system is far superior as far as the picture quality and the fact that I can see 4 different views at once. All 4 cameras are constantly recording to a hard drive as well so I can go back to check anything I need to. Camera #3 below is the most active one, you can see where the dogs sleep – they have several nice dog beds to choose from but they prefer the hay feeders. We can also see the boys barn from cam #3. We got this camera system from Riverwind Barn Cams. Life is good. Happy Tuesday!
