Wednesday, September 15, 2021 It’s probably obvious by now, but I should make it official. We have come to the decision that we cannot safely host our Fall Open Barn Days like we have done every fall since 1999. (except for the 2020 pandemic) Yes we are vaccinated, but many kids are not and I do not want to be the host of the event that made them sick. We think it is simply the right thing to do. When we are open to the public, we have hundreds of people who come, one weekend we had close to 1000 people here. I know it’s a possibly unpopular opinion – but I think it is too risky right now to do large gatherings. Concerts, large gathering venues, sports, the whole thing should still be on hold, IMHO. But the population of this country reached their limit of being told that they can’t gather and see concerts and go to other events so on we go. Everyone can decide for themselves how much risk they want to take. Many people are just done with the whole pandemic restrictiveness and I can respect that. So I ask you to respect that we will not hold our event this fall. It’s one thing to attend an event, but there is another level of responsibility added to host one.

I know that was a hard decision, but I agree it is better to err on the side of caution. Looking forward to a time when it is truly safe to gather.

Hopefully we will see you and your lovely animals
In the spring. Thanks for helping us stay safe.
Will your shop be open? For Xmas gifts?
Linda
Hi LaDonna! The shop will be open from time to time but we will also have a better online store for purchasing and you can always pickup the items you purchase at the ranch. Thanks for asking.
