Thursday, August 26, 2021 We got more yarn back from the mill and this stuff is gorgeous! Makes even me want to knit! And it reminded me why I’ve been breeding for white fleeces too. The natural colors are beautiful of course but the dyed ones are so much fun too. I sat outside and put them in skeins yesterday, but they haven’t been labeled and I need to figure out the cost this year. My shearer has raised his prices, my processor has raised their prices, and hay is almost 3 times what it was last year. So I will do what i can to keep it close to where it was last year but need to look at the costs involved too. When I open the store this fall I want to have lots and lots of awesome goodies for you to see. I also have the felted sheet that I need to cut into boot liners. These will be better than we’ve had in the past, plus made from all our own fiber and the best way to keep your feet warm and comfy this winter. I have a few spirit dolls that will be released soon too. Busy hands are happy hands! 😁 Happy Thursday!
Photo of the Day: Sitting under my favorite tree in the driveway, the sun coming through the leaves makes a light show on some of the new yarn.

I hope I speak for many of your followers when I say this. I buy your yarn not just for its beauty, but to support your farm and operation. If that means I’m paying a little more than I would for something at my yarn store or elsewhere online for a similar fiber, I’m GOOD with that. I know where it’s going and am happy to do a little bit to help offset your expenses.

Oh Kim, that makes my heart feel so full. Thanks so much for saying that and of course for your support. It truly means the world to me.

Ditto what Kim says. Can’t wait to see the new yarn in your store!

Thanks Maureen! And thanks for all your support too.

Ditto what Kim said!! I love the colors, can’t wait to see more. The black yarn from Raven’s fleece with the purple woven throughout is so beautiful, hoping to see more of that (it was Raven’s…right?)
Love to you and Ed and the animals
