Rescue or purebred?

Monday, August 23, 2021  I’m getting email and messages from people who assume we are looking for another guardian dog since we lost our big boy Chief.  Actually we are not. Charlotte and Blue are working together as a great team for now. This is not to say that is the right dog appeared we wouldn’t consider it, but we are not looking.  Rescue or purebred? Doesn’t matter at all. Charlotte is a rescue and Blue is a registered purebred Great Pyrenees. Our guardian dogs must have the heart and mind of a true livestock guardian dog and those come in all packages.   And the house dogs are just because, well ….. you can’t have too many dogs, right?  😁

I love rescue dogs, I love mixed breed dogs, I love purebred dogs. We have all 3 kinds here at this time and they’re all just beloved dogs. 🐾
