Tuesday, August 17, 2021 Well I know there is a lot wrong in our world today but I need to change the tune in my own head. So….Things to be grateful for today: I got word from my NEW hay grower that he has 500 bales reserved for us. Yay! The Parley’s Canyon fire is over 20% contained. Rain is hopefully on it’s way bringing cooler temps and moisture for my newly planted grass seed. And we have 3 beautiful healthy babies who race around the pastures at dusk banishing all negative thoughts. Happy Tuesday!

Thank goodness about the fire! Raina’s eyes are gorgeous. We’ve had a couple with those gray eyes. We suspected it came from gray alpacas in their background, but who knows. We do have a dark silver gray girl with blue eyes, but she isn’t related to the ones with the gray eyes. It was the blue eyes that showed us alpaca pupils are like goats’ eyes…

We’ve had a few blue eyed whites over the years, but this is the first grey eyed alpaca we’ve had. I quite like the look!
