Thursday, July 29, 2021 We’ve been having brief but welcome rain most afternoons lately. But yesterday the clouds were fading and I announced, “it’s not going to rain, I’m opening the gate to the new property”. The alpacas including the 2 babies were happy to run in the new grass. And I got the hose out to water all my plants. You guessed it. Within 30 minutes, there was a downpour and I spent some quality time with the girls in their barn to wait it out. Always grateful for rain in a drought!
Ciara continues to hold on to her pregnancy so we continue to stay close to home and watch. Today will be in the 70’s with chance of afternoon rain, maybe a nice day for a baby Ciara? I’ll be here if you need me.
Photo of the Day: At least they got a little fun in before the downpour. I love baby races!

Loved watching the babies run.

Me too. It’s hard to be sad when watching those little ones.
