Sunday, July 18, 2021 I must admit, It is quite fun to have someone just as focused on the births as I am. This 11 yr old boy checks alpaca butts with more frequency than I do! Yesterday he ran back the the house and said “Ya, Ava’s butt looks like a cantaloupe!!” Good! (They used to call me Yaya, but that’s for babies, so now they call me “Ya”) He then called his parents and asked to stay one more day please because we are sooo close. Welcome to the unpredictable world of alpaca births! lol We do now have good udder development on 2 of them, but all we can do is just keep waiting. Happy Sunday!
