Thursday, July 15, 2021 Well we found a bit of hay. And now I can add getting hay out of a field to my resume. The farmer is actually a friend of my daughter and we are hoping he will be our new hay supplier. He grows lovely grass hay and the alpacas went nuts for it when I let them have some last night. These alpacas are certainly not starved but they acted like it when they smelled this new hay. Our 70+ year old bodies slept well last night! But I sincerely hope all future hay purchases will include delivery and stacking. Many thanks to Deb and Jim, our helpful neighbors who helped us gather in the field and stack it back here.
The preggos remain pregnant. Our grandson is coming up today to hopefully see a birth so maybe that is what they’re waiting for. He’ll stay for a few days so fingers crossed. Happy Thursday!
