Thursday, July 8, 2021 The first 3 fleeces are on their way to our processor in Salt Lake City and I’ll be continually sending 3 more to them each time 3 are ready for pick up. It’s a good system for us, the mill is not overwhelmed with a truckload of fleeces and I don’t get overwhelmed skirting too many fleeces at once. We coordinate the fleece drop off and pick up with our weekly run to Costco (for dog food) so we’re not making extra trips to the city. It’s hard to think of knitting with nice warm alpaca yarn when we’re in such a blasted heat wave, but it will be cold again someday!
I’ve seen good ABBA (Alien baby butt activity) from Ciara – that baby wants out! Interesting side note: the last time Ciara was pregnant she held on to her baby for 400 days and I finally decided to induce her. Rowdy was born 20 hours after I gave her the shot. 345 days is normal and that is where Ciara is today. Will she decide to be “normal ” this time? I sure hope so! Happy Thursday!
Photo of the Day: What? I’m here to help with the fleeces! ~Bogart He loves the skirtings that didn’t make the final cut for the mill. lol

I remember Ciara holding on to Baby Rowdy!

You’ve been with me for a while Gigi! Such a stressful time for me. I was so afraid he was positioned the wrong way and I might cause a disaster by inducing. But it all tuned out fine in the end.
