Monday, June 28, 2021 As our drought continues we see signs all around us of the seriousness of the issue. The Provo River at the end of our road has never been so low. We’re grateful that our creek is still flowing but we don’t take any of our water for granted. We desperately need water all over the western states. We are actually OK at Blue Moon because this property is part of what was an ancient river bed and much of our land is subirrigated, with water is flowing under the ground. I planted a little tree yesterday and the ground I dug up was totally wet. That little tree won’t need any more water from me. Lucky indeed! But the big picture is much more dire. Pray for rain, or do a rain dance and if you do have water be grateful. Happy Monday!
Photo of the Day: The river is so low you can walk across it! And they did.
