Friday, June 11, 2021 A very chilly morning (27 degrees) is a problem for tender plants but not for fully fleeced alpacas. And I hope they enjoy every bit of it because the heat is coming back next week. We do have a “tentative” new shearing date of Saturday June 19 and I sure hope it sticks. They are trying to accommodate a lot of farms who got left hanging by the crew that quit. We accomplish nothing by getting upset, so we’ll just go with the flow. Happy Friday! stay well~

Thanks! Me too! It also works with our helpers. 🤞🏻

Continued prayers for a successful, perfect plan. It WAS a chilly morning! It was 58 degrees on my walk along the Jordan River this morning! I loved it. Have a fantastic weekend.
Linda
Thanks. We gotta enjoy those chilly mornings when we get them, right? You have a great weekend too!

Fingers crossed for your new date of the 19th!!!
Pretty sure my basil didn’t make it with our 28 degree overnight (even though I covered all my veggies and herbs. ). But I know where to buy some more. Haha
Linda
The lowest I saw here was 27, but everything I covered made it. I just covered them all again. My phone says 30 for tonight , Ed’s says 42. But I’m playing it safe. Sorry ’bout your basil!
