Wednesday, June 9, 2021 The youngest members of the herd are the 2 year old sons of Romulus; Roman, Ryder, Rocky and Remy. Their cria fleeces that we gathered last year were lovely, but this year is the year I’ll get their very best. And wow have these little boys been growing fleece! They all look stunning, event little Remy. These four fleece bags will be the first that I open once I start the skirting days. Happy Wednesday!
Photo of the Day: Roman will be glad to give me this fleece on Friday. It’s a lovely one for sure.
His brother Ryder’s fleece is even finer. This is the one I’m most excited for.
All 4 brothers (sons of Romulus) are packed with some awesome fleeces this year. Even little Remy who is hiding in the background.

Wow! What a treasure you are going to have! I am so happy I am going to be teaching myself how to knit/crochet so I can make beautiful gifts out of the fleece of your gorgeous herd

I just got an email from the shearer that his crew quit and he can’t be here on Friday! To say I am stressed is putting it mildly! arghhhh! I am frantically working on a plan B C D and E
But yay for you learning to knit!
Sunny
Whaaaat?! His entire crew?!! Sending prayers of success
Linda
Thanks.

Holy crap! The whole crew quit! You must be frantic. That’s everyone’s nightmare, especially this late in the season. We’re still waiting for our shearer who has us on the schedule but doesn’t tell us when until a couple of days before. I lurk on his Facebook page to see if I can tell where he is in his trek north. He does the east coast from North to South. But your boys look AWESOME! I’m envious. My herd is getting older (as are we).

Holy crap is right. I’ve been phoning and texting all day and they say we’ll be rescheduled in the next 2 weeks. I’m hoping for sooner rather than later. We’ll see! I might have to reopen the “beach” that I just closed.
Thanks for your compliments on the boys. Romulus has given us amazing babies here.
