Saturday, May 29, 2021 As we start the Memorial day weekend, it’s not a bad idea to recall why we do. It’s an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Although somber in it’s origin it also seems to have become the unofficial start of summer activities. So take a moment to reflect on those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country and then enjoy your friends and family on a lovely long weekend. Happy Saturday!

He comes so close! We see the brown trout but it always gets away. lol One time he got it totally out of the water but it got off the hook. It’s a legendary fish by now. 😁

Thanks! I’m so lucky to have at least one of the grandkids live nearby.
