Tuesday, May 11, 2021 A snow day in May is kind of a treat I think. It didn’t stick on the ground, just made the dogs and alpacas run around more and all the bugs went back to sleep. The birds were very hungry and I was happy to catch a glimpse of our Bullock’s Oriole family enjoying the grape jelly and orange slices I put out for them. I filled that jelly cup twice yesterday.
I’ve also stared dying some yarn to get more inventory ready for Yaya’s Yarn Barn and the eventual reopening. I haven’t made any big announcement yet but I did add a tiny box as a footer on my website that we will take private tours starting May 22 on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays. And guess what? We are already booked up till mid June with deposits paid! We’re putting more of a limit of the days we’re available because the pandemic taught us we were getting too close to burn out doing as many tours as we had been. Time for us to slow down and enjoy life a little too. Happy Tuesday! stay well~
Photo of the Day: Maybe the snow made them hungrier?
I love these birds.
Pretty fun yarn dryer I have, no? I picked a nice moss green color to start. Brighter colors coming today.
