Saturday, May 1, 2021 Happy May Day! Time to put out the hummingbird feeders, they’ll be arriving any day now. I’ll also put out the grape jelly for the Orioles who arrive at about the same time. The pasture vacuuming event planned for yesterday was stopped after about 30 minutes by a worn out belt, so we (meaning Ed) replaced it and I’ll try again today. I also did some rake and shovel clean up which reminds me why I love that machine. ha Happy Saturday. Enjoy your weekend!

Ohh they love it! That and an orange sliced in half are their favorite foods. You can find oriole feeders that have a cup for the jelly and a spike to put and orange half on.

I too will put the hummingbird feeders Mom gave us…like she always said because some years we did not put them out…if you don’t put them out they won’t come
Sadly last year we have put them a little later than usual and believe it or not, one hummingbird came exactly at the spot on the clothes line to feed… must have been a regular of last year …less than an hour later the feeder was out
