Thursday, April 15, 2021 Well that was quite a snow storm. The roads got a bit tangled up with the snow yesterday afternoon as we went to retrieve our grandson from school so his trip home last night was cancelled. Which means we have our favorite ranch hand here all day. He will de attending on line school for a bit here but he loves the snow almost as much as Chief does, so there will be some playtime too. The alpacas are all warm and snuggled into their own fleeces and the dogs think it’s great. I’m glad our shearing day isn’t until June! Happy Thursday! stay well~
Photo of the Day: All tucked inside the barn for the snowstorm.
The alpacas came out when the snow stopped but were sad the grass had disappeared.
And our dear old Chief was happy when it started to snow again. Yes that is his happy face. 😁

So beautiful!
Linda
Thanks Maureen. I think so too.

Just beautiful! I love the Spring snowstorms in our mountains. How old is Chief?
Linda
Thanks Sunny. Me too. We rescued Chief in 2012 and when we took him to see our vet, they thought he was 1 or 2 years old. So he’s probably at least 11. We’ll never know for sure. But he sure loves winter.

We’re getting our snow overnight and tomorrow! Love that Great Pyrenees face!!!

Stay warm Lana! I hope you enjoy your snow as much as we do.

Thanks Lana! I hope you enjoy your snow as much as we enjoy ours. Stay warm!
