Monday, April 12, 2021 Happy Monday! Hopefully we’ll be getting a big bale of hay today and the alpacas will be so happy. (I think)  I’ve been feeding them what we have left and they are telling me they are not impressed.  Or it could be that they’re eating those little green shoots that are trying to grow in the pastures. We are still keeping them off of most areas but our main barn pasture is a sacrifice area. I can’t imagine keeping them in the barn while the grass tries to grow. Any fresh grass always beats hay, so it will be interesting to see if they love the big bale hay as much as they did last time.  I got about half of the boy’s barn cleaned out yesterday and today I hope to start on the girls.  It looks like we have some wet snowy weather heading our way and I want to at least clear out the “front porch” area. It won’t take me that long and I do love using my tractor.  Do what you love, love what you do. Amen.
