Sunday, April 11, 2021 in these perfectly pleasant spring days I love to sit outside and watch for signs of pregnancy in the moms that I bred last year. Just because they were bred doesn’t mean they will be pregnant, and just because they are pregnant doesn’t mean they will hold the pregnancy to a live birth. So far I have seen at least two who appear to be pregnant. Ava, who is Remy’s mom was bred to Stetson and Ciara, our black beauty was bred to Romulus again. I’ve been wrong before but I just thought I’d share what I think today. 😁 I’ll see things more clearly after shearing. We used to do blood tests for progesterone levels and we have had our vet two ultrasounds, and I have found nothing is 100% accurate. My hunches work pretty well for me. Happy Sunday! stay well~
Photo of the Day: I hope Ava is growing more than just fleece!

Yay for baby news! I had my shearing day yesterday and one of my new girls was suppose to be expecting this summer. Sadly after being sheared, I’m pretty sure that she’s not. She’s a black beauty and was bred to a grey and I was really looking forward to having another crib born here. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be. (Although I’m still crossing my fingers for another “surprise baby”.) 😉 I guess I’ll have to continue stalking your blog for my cria fix. 🙂

Surprise babies happen more often than you’d think! Fingers crossed for you.
