Friday, April 2, 2021 I took a delightful drive yesterday to a local dairy to pick up the number one most important thing to have around if you are expecting baby alpacas. Fresh colostrum! I don’t need it for every birth, but when you need you won’t have time to find it. Today I will put it in small freezer bags and it will be ready if we need it. It’s like an insurance policy in my freezer!
Happy Friday! Stay well~
Photo of the Day: This little one didn’t need any colostrum except her mom’s.

Exactly. I don’t like to take any risks with newborns. They are so vulnerable.
