Happy Spring!

Saturday, March 20, 2021  Our first day of spring is turning out to be a pretty dreary one. It’s raining now and it will turn to snow later this afternoon. But since our governor just declared Utah in a state of emergency because of our drought we’ll take it – rain or snow or both. I’ve been looking for new hay growers this week, we didn’t buy quite enough last year to get us through. And every farmer I’ve talked to is very worried about the water situation and growing hay. We bought our first thousand pound bale last week and still trying to figure out how we’re going to work with hay of that size. But when the small bales are gone, you do what you gotta do, right? I was proud that I could lift a 60 pound bale but this is pushing my limits! lol
