Saturday, March 13, 2021 Our youngest son is coming today with his big white dog and then she’ll be staying with us for the next month as they take off on a river rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. Cassie loves being here, our dogs love her, so we hope she wont miss them too much. She was a local mountain dog who wandered away from the sheep and if you want to read her story and find out why she ended up with our kids, you can find it here. She’s a very mellow soul and will become one of the pack easily. She was not interested in living outside with livestock, she much prefers people, although she will watch the alpacas with great interest from the porch. Belle and Banjo will tire her out and she’ll never be alone when she’s here. Welcome to the ranch Cassie – hope you enjoy your vacation as much as your mom and dad enjoy theirs!
